What I love about this earring is that it came out almost effortlessly. I went to the studio this morning having no plans or preconceived ideas to make the last earring for the Earring-a-Day project. That’s it, no struggling, no pressure to make something spectacular, I ended up with one more botanical earring that I always enjoy making.
After participating in numerous challenges in the past, I understand now better than ever the importance of showing up. Even if you are not always thrilled with what you make, even if it’s not the best work you can do, showing up is the first and most important step of the process.
