Brooch-a-Day update

This daily challenge has proved to be even more fun than I imagined! I have continued to explore the paperclip pin idea by flattening or enameling the paperclip and also by attaching different materials.

A couple more samples for future brooches, made with layers of wood, card stock and acrylic paint. The materials were glued, cut and re-assembled.

The last “brooch” is a knitting swatch made with a new variegated yarn. Since it’s on a double point needle, I thought that it could also work as a brooch!

I have made another one, which is also my second entry for Brooch-a-Week but I will write about this in another post.
