Have you ever noticed the flowers of the yucca plant?
Yucca is this sturdy tree or shrub with the long, sword-shaped leaves, that I’m sure you’ve seen everywhere. When the plant is mature, it blooms and this usually happens in the late summer.
I picked up the flowers a couple of days ago during a walk and I was impressed by the intricate form of the stamen and the way the petals gracefully lean towards the center.
