Washing and drying enamels

The process of washing and drying the enamels before using them may seem tedious and time-consuming but it’s also fun to watch these fine particles of glass as they dry.

Afterwards, I tested the turquoise enamel on one of my sterling silver circles. By adding two layers of enamels and firing the piece twice, I got this deep emerald green color:
