The Earring-a-Day project is moving along great and so far I enjoy making earrings every day. I might fall a bit behind with the listings on the Etsy Shop sometimes but then I catch up again. I try not to stress over it and focus on the fun part!
These days I play with organic or geometrical shapes and I add the element of color by incorporating gemstone briolettes.
This one was made by casting a real tree branch in brass. Afterwards, a sterling silver post was soldered, a green onyx briolette was added and the whole earring was black platinum plated.
I also love this one, with the floral design in sterling silver and a drop of sunshine from the yellow chalcedony:

I love photographing them, don’t you think that single earrings make a nice subject for photography?
