It’s been a difficult week, being sick with fever for the most part. Since yesterday I’m finally starting to feel better and slowly regaining my strength.
At one point when I thought I was doing better, I managed to make this custom jasmine earrings and bangle set, pictured above.
Today I also finished off three more silver and resin pieces and practiced the square knot, which I hadn’t tried before. I liked it a lot, I thought it looked very clean and neat.
I’ve made the heart earrings before and they’re one of my favorite pairs. The color of the resin is so vibrant and shiny, I wish I could capture it more accurately than that.
The blue circle bracelet and ring are both new pieces. I chose this deep turquoise blue for the ring and a brighter aqua blue for the bracelet, which is finished with beige waxed linen cord and a sliding closure.
It took me a while to figure out how to make the square knot for the macrame bracelet but now that I got it, I should probably make more colors. This one is finished with a small silver toggle clasp.
It sure feels great to be back again after spending a week lying on the couch, drinking warm tea and trying to keep the fever from rising!
