I’m not sure if I should call it Ring-a-Week anymore, since I’m making more rings than just one per week. But I thought I could go ahead and post them all in advance, to stock up for the difficult days that might come!
So, this is the first ring, made with a 6x4mm faceted oval ruby. The ruby is bezel set and the band is made by fusing tiny sterling silver pieces on flattened sterling silver wire. This has become my favorite type of band and I must say that I really enjoy making it.
Ring-a-Week #19 “Ruby silver ring”, sterling silver, faceted ruby.
I made another fused sterling silver band but the flower is not permanently attached yet.
Ring-a-Week #20 “Variations”, sterling silver, resin flowers, pearls.
I couldn’t decide which flower to choose, I couldn’t even decide if I wanted it with a flower or a pearl! So I’m leaving this decision to the person that will have this ring….and that’s the best decision I can take for now!
I also made these pebble rings, which I’m sending to a boutique store in the island of Hydra, among a few other pieces.
Ring-a-Week, #21 “Pebble rings”, sterling silver, beach pebbles.
I made my first black and white pebble ring last summer for Ring-a-Day. Now I’m adding a single white and a single black bezel set pebble in my series of pebble jewelry.
