I was doodling the other day and made an one-line butterfly. I thought that it could also work if I used wire. So I made a butterfly by bending one piece of brass wire. I liked how the first butterfly turned out and decided to make a ring with it, by soldering a sterling silver band.
Then I made a couple more butterflies, which will become earrings, after I finish forming and cleaning them.
I like these one liners quite a lot, they kind of remind me of the line drawings that I did last year for Ring-a-Day, using found steel wire. I may have to revisit this theme at some point.
