“Wire flower pin”, sterling silver, copper, felted wool, silk.
Lately I find myself fully immersed into making new work and experimenting with different ideas. I’ve been focusing more into making and less into photographing, editing and posting, which is also a big part of the whole process.
But I couldn’t avoid it anymore and so tonight a massive upload of new pieces had to take place. Hope that you’ll enjoy them!
I got carried away with the wire flower forms that I’ve been playing with and made a stick pin, a ring and a pair of earrings. I added felted wool, a piece of silk and stitched them in the center of the metal construction.

Here’s another piece using felted wool, silk and various ribbons.
I had a lot of fun with the cast eucalyptus seedpods. First, I made a square wavy band and soldered a cluster of three pods on the side. I tied a piece of teal thread, reminiscent of a little bouquet from nature.
Then, I made a simpler -and easier to wear version- using only one pod as a focal point. The shape of the band is what I think that makes it more interesting.
I also decided to add a few more options for my cube earrings, the wavy bangles and the circle resin bracelets:
“Cube earrings”, sterling silver, red silk.
“Wavy bangles”, sterling silver, embroidery thread.
“Circle resin bracelet”, sterling silver, pigmented resin, waxed linen cord.
There are more coming up the next few days!
Thanks for visiting!
