Lately I’ve been carrying a sketchbook everywhere and have been sketching a lot outside. I have spent many joyful hours observing, sketching, studying, reading and writing.
During this process, I noticed many recurrent themes in my drawings.
By allowing myself to be immersed in this slower pace, suddenly -almost effortlessly and so naturally – came this ring. It’s one of my most beloved forms, the one that I kept drawing again and again
It’s made with little fine silver granules, fused together, soldered on a brass “stem” and onto a sterling silver band. I’ll have to think on a few more alternatives for the band but I’m quite pleased with how the stem and the flower part came out.
Thanks for reading!
