Above you ‘ll find some of the new bracelets that I’m making these days and also another one of my favorite little heart pendants. This one is roll printed with a beautiful lace pattern and the gold plated heart hangs from an olive green cord.
Back to experimenting, I was very excited to receive these sterling silver castings of the eucalyptus seed pods that I had collected last summer. My first project is to make a ring with them. I’ve already started working on it and I should have photos of the finished piece very soon.
I’m also playing with these freeform copper wire flowers, which I ‘m planning on using for brooches, rings and earrings.
Yesterday, I did a little practice on how to crochet around a circular form. Hadn’t tried this before and I was wondering how it’s done. Once the first row is completed and the thread is attached to the circle, the possibilities are endless.
I’m saving for last this very cool exercise that we did in yesterday’s jewelry class. It’s supposed to help us come up with ideas for ring designs and I was very intrigued by it. I have to finish it and see if anything interesting comes up!
