….to brighten our days! The pendant above is made with a vintage glass vial, which was initially used to store watch parts. It is filled with seashells and strung on waxed linen cord.
Sandals, requested to be as colorful as possible!
Crocheted flowers in hot pink and purple, on sterling silver ear wires:
Sterling silver earrings, embellished with buttons, ribbons, lace, silk fabric and tiny wooden beads:
Turquoise bracelet, with sterling silver charm and coral, next to my fading blue hydrangea bloom!
I’m saving this turquoise flower necklace for last. This is a remake of a previous necklace, where turquoise was combined with iolite. This one is turquoise only, along with accents of coral and silk fabric.
I’m thinking that part of the reason why I’m making all these colorful, cheerful pieces is a way to deal with the gloomy, uncertain surrounding environment. It has a kind of soothing effect on me when I make them and I hope that it will bring joy to the people who will wear them.
Thanks for visiting!
