Latest Ring-a-Week and a few more jewels

RAW52 #8 “Red Heart”

This ring has been waiting on my bench for weeks to be finished. I couldn’t find the time until one morning I decided to set everything else aside and finish it.

Then I had to wait a couple more days for the resin to cure completely until I could wear it and photograph it.
The resin that I used this time is a two-part epoxy. I added a translucent pinkish red pigment and just a tiny amount of blue to make it more vibrant. The color is even more beautiful in person!

So I’m one day late but this is my #8 for Ring-a-Week.

Here are a few more pieces that I made this week:

Strawberry and watermelon earrings in sterling silver and pigmented resin:

A  gold plated sterling silver “heart” ring, to be worn on the little finger:

…and a gold plated sterling silver heart pendant on black waxed linen cord. Both the ring and the pendant are part of the tiny jewelry series.

This is another fused sterling silver pendant, which is strung on silk ribbon. The pendant is also gold plated.
