One week before christmas I had the brilliant idea to knit hats for my family and surprise them for christmas. And this is how a late night knitting marathon begun! I totally enjoyed every minute of making them!
For the cable hats, I used this pattern with a few modifications. I substituted one cable round with an inch of 1×1 ribbing. I also used my 6mm circular needles and therefore I cast on less stitches, 70 instead of 80. It knits up very quickly and looks great, which makes it the perfect knit gift!

I have also finished my fetching mittens and started a new cowl that may end up becoming a scarf!
