This is a brooch that is almost ready and all I have to do is set the chrysoprase bullet on the bottom right corner. The back is roll printed copper. I’ll post more pics one it’s done. I soldered a sterling silver frame and embedded in resin a collage, made with one of Evelyn’s stamps.
Initially, I started with the papaya stamp…..you can see what remained from it on the left. Unfortunately, although I though I had sealed the image properly, the resin penetrated it through one of the holes of the stitching.
This is a ring that I made with one pebble from Myrtos, at Kefalonia. I couldn’t resist adding a few embroidery details around the stone.
I also received my new metal clay order today and I was very excited to test the molds that I have made! As I’m writing this post the pieces are drying. I should be able to fire them either later today or tomorrow.
Also, some custom work that I completed recently:
A pendant for a young mother with her son’s name.
A pair of sterling silver, heart-shaped earrings.
A creamy white tank top, embellished with a fabric flower, crocheted flowers and embroidery.
Bracelets for two young girls, made with sterling silver chain, gemstones, swarovski crystals, sterling silver beads and charms.
For last, I wanted to show you the latest of my amateur experiments with watercolors! I painted what I love: corals, shells and starfishes.
