If you follow my blog and especially my Pinterest for a while, you may have noticed how obsessed I have become with crochet and knitting. Over the weekend I discovered Lucy’s blog, Attic24, which is full of crochet inspiration and beautiful patterns.
If you think that crochet patterns are daunting, Lucy makes it so much easier to follow them by explaining and providing lots of photos.
So far I tried the ripple pattern, which worked great and then I started crocheting granny squares to make a cushion cover.
The cushion cover kept getting bigger and bigger:

Most of this work happened on Saturday afternoon and suddenly we had a blackout! Have you ever tried crocheting during a blackout? I guess this is when you realize that you have developed a new addiction!
After making so many granny squares, I thought I’d make a tinier one and use it for a stickpin:
