A belated post about this past weekend, which had a little bit of everything: making jewelry, new book arrivals, photographing, sketching, arranging leaves and flowers……. oh and baking a delicious cherry cake too. Recipe here.
My gloriosa lily is in full bloom right now and I took the time to observe and sketch the graceful curves of its petals.
I also read a couple chapters of the new books that I ordered and they both exceeded my expectations. I’ll post more details soon.
