Edward Munch’s exhibition “Beyond the Scream” at Herakleidon Museum, was the perfect excuse to spend a day in the streets of Athens, feeling more like a visitor or even a tourist maybe!
I couldn’t take any pictures but if you happen to be in Athens until the end of February, I strongly recommend to visit this exhibition.
At the flea market, near Monastiraki, I discovered a ring, which seemed perfect for my Ring-a-Day. I also bought this old wooden typesetter’s drawer. I need to clean it and start placing bits and pieces of my collections, daily finds or whatever I find interesting in the tiny compartments.
We had great falafel at Raja Jee at Sofocleous St. and delicious pies at Lena’s bio food market at Nikis St.
Overall a very pleasurable day, wandering aimlessly around the city. It’s nice not to be in a hurry for a change!
