Over the years, I’ve noticed that when it comes to hearts, there are two very distinct groups of people. Those who love them and those who absolutely hate them! I have to admit that I really enjoy playing with this shape and I like making hearts all year long. The V-day just gives me one more excuse to make more!
One of the new pieces that I’ve made is the pendant, pictured above. It’s made in brass but it can also be made in sterling silver, or gold plated sterling silver. I have crocheted it with red year on the edge of the heart and the pendant is strung on hand-woven cord. I like to knot yarns with different colors and textures, to get a unique look each time.
Then, I couldn’t resist making a bracelet with the new crystals that I recently got. The heart is made in sterling silver and then it was gold plated.
Two more heart rings, already shipped to their destinations: it’s the red heart ring and the little sterling silver ring with the gold plated heart:
Valentine’s day doesn’t have to be all about hearts of course. Here’s the eucalyptus ring, ready to be packaged in the handmade pouch, which is embellished with extra hearts for the occasion!
Thanks for visiting!
