These past two weeks, I enjoyed playing with the cone ring and finding alternative materials, other than gemstones, to fill it with. I also had the chance to try a few more things, like translating a paper model into a metal ring, making a fused ring and also combining silver and silk into a riveted flower ring.
This week we ‘ve passed the 300 hallmark without me even realizing it! Now there are almost 60 rings to go and it feels strange that this project is coming to an end.
My friends who participate in Ring-a-Day continue to make amazing rings! This collage gives you an idea of what’s going on but you can find much more in the group’s Flickr Pool.
