…in fact it’s almost ready! I worked on it during the weekend and the most challenging part wasn’t the hinge mechanism, as I thought it would be, but the clasp.
Initially, I decided to make a friction-clasp pin that you can see in the first two photos. It didn’t work very well for me as it wasn’t very secure. So I did another type of clasp, which proved so much better.
