I’m doing a little research on non-precious materials……maybe later I will work on my artist statement regarding the resin collection.
This is a page from Kathie Murphy’s Design and make non-precious jewellery. There are different chapters about rubber, plastics, wood, paper & leather, textiles, metals, bone etc. Quite interesting to read, including basic instructions and wonderful jewelry photos.
Now that I’m done with the resin collection for the most part, I might have some good news to share with you next week!
Tomorrow, I will also talk about ideas for new collections. But first, I have to complete a wholesale bracelet order and make about 40 charms. They’re going to be similar to these bracelets that I did last fall. They’re a lot of fun to make, especially once I start adding the cords, fibers and gemstones!
