Another great thing happened during this past weekend. A friend invited me over to look into her enormous stash of yarn and choose whatever I wanted! Amazing, right?
Her mother, who is so experienced in crochet, also does beautiful machine embroidery. She shared her process with me and showed me pieces of lace that she has crocheted and old patterns.
As you can easily understand, I was in heaven!
Back home, I immediately started making samples, using the bright blue yarn first!
