Easiest brooches ever and a few more stuff

A few days ago, just before last Sunday’s Open Studio, I managed to put together a few fun, colorful and easy to make pieces, which proved to be quite successful! I didn’t have the chance to upload them until now.

Two of the brooches are made of yellow measuring tape, velvet ribbon and buttons. I also finished another one, using a flower that I felted long ago and a few glass “pearls”, stitched in the center.

Felted beads from various projects were the base for this necklace:

….then, just before the storm of the open studio hits, I spent a few quiet moments, surrounded by my threads, fabrics and needles, to start this heart-shaped fabric ornament:

The following days, I’ll be posting updates of what’s been going on in the studio this past week, as I was preparing various orders.
