It all started with this rough kyanite stud earring in a handmade prong setting.
Then I discovered a whole batch of raw apatite stones in one of my drawers, which led to three more earrings. Besides the apatite, I found a few more interesting stones to use in future earrings. I definitely should be cleaning the studio more often!
Next, I made one more prong setting for the apatite stud earring:
I noticed that one of the stones fitted perfectly inside the organic cones that I’ve been making lately.
This one grabbed my attention because of its elongated shape. I created a special setting for it. I think it’s my favourite of the three apatite earrings.
