"Metal Clay Charm Pendants"
These are the charm pendants that I made with my first silver metal clay pieces! I drilled them and added a lot of color, using waxed linen thread and cotton fiber embellishments.

Now I need to buy more clay!
For some stunning metal clay jewelry, check out the work of my friends Lorena Angulo, Lora Hart and Angela Baduel-Crispin.

Reader Discussion
This might just be a question for me because I’m not a jewelry maker, but how do you drill the wholes in the silver? Is it a regular drill, or a special tool? Just curious.
The necklaces look great btw!
Anika, regular drill will work. I buy my drill bits from a jewelry supplier but I remember that when I first started, I was drilling a lot with my father’s drill. It’s a good idea to lubricate the drill bit before so it won’t break and always mark the spot with a center punch or a nail tool prior to drilling.
