Trying to carve some time to experiment with new designs while taking care of our little one is not easy. But I really love working on new ideas, plus I wanted to make something with some beautiful fluorite gemstones that I got a while back. So I would work just a bit every time he would let me….it took me a while but finally the earrings are ready, teardrop fluorite cabochons set in sterling silver, combined with botanical elements.

I have made the flower wreath earrings using stones of various shapes and colour. This time I combined them with aqua blue chalcedony.

“Καμία χιονονιφάδα δεν είναι όμοια με κάποια άλλη”

Το νέο γούρι του 2019 είναι έτοιμο! Με το μέο μέλος στην οικογένειά μας, που ήρθε πριν δύο μήνες, ο σχεδιασμός και η δημιουργία του δεν ήταν εύκολη υπόθεση. Στο τέλος όμως τα καταφέραμε!

Η χιονονιφάδα, το μικροσκοπικό αυτό κόσμημα της φύσης, σχηματίζεται όταν υδρατμοί συμπυκνώνονται γύρω από ένα αρχικό κρύσταλλο χιονιού. Οι κρύσταλλοι μιας χιονονιφάδας οργανώνονται σε εξαγωνικό πλέγμα. Ωστόσο, οι συνθήκες του περιβάλλοντος, η θερμοκρασία και η υγρασία της ατμόσφαιρας, οδηγούν σε άπειρους εναλλακτικούς σχηματισμούς, με αποτέλεσμα καμία χιονονιφάδα να μην είναι ποτέ όμοια με κάποια άλλη.

Το γούρι είναι διαθέσιμο σε μενταγιόν ή βραχιόλι, από ασήμι ή ορείχαλκο. Επιλέξτε την επιμετάλλωση (επαργύρωση, ροζ ή κίτρινο επιχρύσωμα) καθώς και το χρώμα κορδονιού της προτίμησής σας. Τα διαθέσιμα χρώματα είναι: κόκκινο, μαύρο, blue/black, μπορντώ και πράσινο/σμαραγδί.

​I’m so happy to introduce the new fall botanical collection! It consists of one-of-a-kind rings and earrings, hand-sculpted in waxed, cast in sterling silver. Afterwards, each piece is finished by hand with great attention to detail.

Let’s start with the earring. I made a pair of flower earrings, two pairs with a subtle tree bark texture and my first ever ear climber, which I love!

Next, I made five new rings mixing leaves, seeds and granules. Three of them are adjustable.

Besides the new collection, I also made a new pair of long, bohemian earrings with turquoise and a bracelet, featuring sterling silver links and twisted waxed cord.

Plus, a couple photos of the conical earrings with coral and aqua blue chalcedony.
